Linen Table Runner with Eyelet Embroidery

This slightly off-white linen runner is probably Italian. The work is very fine. Each eyelet opening has been carefully and tightly embroidered. The runner measures 19" wide and 40" long. It looks lovely on the dining room table with a vase of flowers in the center. It dates from around 1920. It has been washed, starched, and ironed and is ready to use.
