This pretty appliqued quilt dates from between 1930 and 1950; the printed cottons are the geometric-floral prints of the Depression Era. The Nile green grid and centers of the "plates" are other features that place the quilt in this era. The quilt has never been used and is in perfect condition except for a bit of color bleeding on one square. The piecing of the "plates" and the applique work are nicely hand done. The quilting is also by hand at 9 stitches per inch. The quilt is 100% cotton and is machine washable in cold water. It measures 72" X 82" and will fit a full-sized bed with a dust ruffle.
