This pin really makes a statement. It is dark red bakelite with carving on each corner. The white cameo portion has been glued into the surface. The celluloid has been molded rather than carved, but there is a lot of depth and detail. It is very white. The piece dates from the 1930's. It is 1 7/8" wide, 2 1/4" high, and 3/4" thick. This 1930's bakelite pin is part of a series of pieces with horses and horse racing as their theme. This hard-to-find one is in great condition. It features carving on the handle end, cane wrapping (simulates leather), and a little strap to go over the wrist. There are two darker colored carved riding boots, also bakelite, dangling from the crop. The pin is all original. It measures 3 1/2" long and 2" high. The riveted pin bar and safety catch are in good condition.

This really interesting caramel bakelite pin is made of two fang-shaped pieces of bakelite that have been pinned together by the pin bar. The color has probably darkened with age; it was probably more ivory in color when it was new in the 1930's. This pin would look great with your faux-leopard fur jacket. It is 3 1/8" long, 1"wide, and 1" thick. It is in perfect, original condition.

This great chunky bakelite pin is in excellent original condition; it has not even been cleaned or polished! It is Catalin bakelite, beautifully marbled with caramel. There is an amber colored glass eye. The pin has a safety catch; the fittings are all in excellent condition. The pin dates from the 1930's; it even has a bit of deco styling. It measures 2 5/8" wide X 2 1/2" tall X 1/4" thick.
