This pretty red bakelite bangle is decorated with diagonal slash carving. The bracelet is thin enough to be a bit translucent. It is smoothly polished on the inside. It measures 15/16" wide and 1/8" thick. The inside diameter is 2 5/8." The bracelet is in excellent condition and has been cleaned and polished. It is an older bangle, dating back to around 1970.

This bracelet looks like four spacers stacked one above the other. It has darkened considerably with age; the inside is a shade lighter. It is smoothly polished and in perfect condition. it dates from the 1930's. The bracelet is 3/4" wide, 3/16" thick, and its inside diameter is 2 1/2." This is a good bangle, with its deep cuts.

This interesting bakelite bangle has an Art Deco design deeply carved into its surface. The carving shows evidence of careful craftsmanship; the piece was carefully polished as well. It is a beautiful translucent caramel catalin bakelite (catalin bakelite has two different colors or shades swirled together; the process was patented by the Catalin Co.) The bangle is 5/8" wide, 1/2" thick, and the inside diameter is 2 1/2" (average).

This ca. 1930-1942 faceted bakelite bar pin is in perfect condition. It is caramel and very dark, translucent green (under fluorescent light) that looks like black. The pin is laminated. The pin bar is attached across the glue line for strength. The pin measures 3/4" X 2" X 1/2" thick. It is all original.

The color has probably darkened with age; it was probably more ivory in color when it was new in the 1930's. This pin would look great with your faux-leopard fur jacket. It is 3 1/8" long, 1"wide, and 1" thick. It is in perfect, original condition.

The bangles are all in excellent condition. They have not been cleaned or polished.

These cherry red bakelite bangles are exactly alike except that one has turned a bit darker in color with age. Each bangle is 3/16" thick and 1/4" wide; the inside diameter is 2 1/2." These bangles are average in size. They are in excellent condition. They are about 70-80 years old. Wear them together as a set, singly, or as spacers between your other bangles.

This bright caramel bakelite dress clip is deeply carved and chunky. It is from the 1930's; the back is polished smooth and is slightly lighter in color than the front. The clip is 2 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide, and slightly more than 1/4" thick. The clip part is white metal, in good condition with a tight spring, and is marked "Made USA." This clip would look great clipped into the V neck of a sweater or hooked over a chain and worn like a pendant. But wear it any way you want; clips are versatile!

This 1930's bakelite pin is part of a series of pieces with horses and horse racing as their theme. This hard-to-find one is in great condition. It features carving on the handle end, cane wrapping (simulates leather), and a little strap to go over the wrist. There are two darker colored carved riding boots, also bakelite, dangling from the crop. The pin is all original. It measures 3 1/2" long and 2" high. The riveted pin bar and safety catch are in good condition.

The bracelet is smooth and was nicely machined when new. This bangle dates from the 1930's. It is 1/4" thick. Its inside diameter is 2 9/16."

The carved design has been intentionally colored to make it stand out. The clip is 3 1/2" long,1 1/4" wide, and 1/2" thick. It is in perfect condition.
