This beautiful round crystal platter is great for serving cold meats, cookies, or whatever you wish. It is both leaded and cut; the design is cut into the reverse side. The edge of the platter is smooth but looks scalloped; there is some cutting on the underside of the edge. The platter is flat and measures 14 1/4" in diameter. It probably dates from the 1950's and is probably from an American glass company; it came from the china cabinet of a suburban Chicago estate with other American glass. ...

These beautiful glass candlesticks are part of Imperial Glass Company's "Candlewick" line. They date from between 1936 and 1984. This line of glassware is considered elegant; the mold lines have been buffed out, and the look is of crystal. These candlesticks are in perfect condition. Each one is 5" tall, 7" long, and 5" wide. They would look lovely on the table with tall white candles.

This attractive green footed Depression Glass candy jar with lid dates from the early 1930's. The green really catches the light. It is not marked but is part of Hazel Atlas Glass Company's "Colonial Block" line. The jar is in excellent condition with no damage except for a tiny chip on the underside of the base (pictured). The lid is perfect! The candy jar is 9" tall and 3 3/4" in diameter. Whether or not one collects Depression Glass, one could find a place for this distinctive accent piece.

This pretty crystal candy dish with cover dates from the 1940's or 1950's. It has the Heisey mark (hard to see in the photograph) of a raised H inside a diamond on the bottom. The dish is 5" in diameter. It is in perfect condition. The pattern is "Lariat," and it is decorated with a continuous cut floral spray around the base. The top has two floral designs, one on either side.

These beautiful tall decanters are cut leaded crystal. They are a pair but are slightly different due to being hand-wrought; the stoppers are not interchangeable. Each decanter is 16" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter. They are unsigned. Both are in perfect condition. They date from the 1920's.

This pretty decanter holds around a quart of liquor and would look great on a dining room sideboard. It measures 11 1/2" tall including the stopper; it is 5" in diameter. The decanter and stopper are cut crystal and of good quality. It is in perfect condition. It dates from the 1930's or 1940's. There are no marks.

These sleek, stylized crystal swans are from the Duncan & miller Glass Co., and date from between 1930 and 1955. This company's swans are famous and very collectible. These two matching ones are both in perfect condition. They are 8" long, 5" wide, and 6" tall. Fill them with colorful candy and pose them. Their elegant modern design makes them fun to arrange in different ways.

These pretty goblets hold about 3-4 oz. of liquor and are perfect for serving liqueur or sherry. Each goblet is 5 3/4" tall with a slightly flared rim. All twelve goblets are in perfect condition. The design has been cut into the crystal. The glasses have been polished smooth. The stems are faceted. They have nice weight and do not tip easily. Since they have not been identified, it is not possible to say exactly how old they are, only that they are vintage.

This little hen-on-nest dish is marked on the bottom with the Hazel Atlas Glass Co. mark. This American company was active during the Depression years. The translucent white color of this dish is called "clam-broth" by collectors. The dish is 4 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide, and 3 1/2" tall. It is in perfect condition.

This very pretty old milk glass bowl is a pale pink color. The open lacy sides of the bowl are very attractive. There are hand-painted pink full-blown roses with green foliage and gold decoration adorning the inside of the bowl. This bowl is in perfect condition. It is 7 1/2" in diameter and 2" high. There are no marks. The bowl is probably American in origin and probably dates from the first half of the twentieth century.
