This pretty 19th century box was originally used for patches (decorative beauty marks added to a lady's face during her toilette). It is white hand-blown milk glass glazed dark blue and decorated with colorful raised enamel decoration. The fittings are brass. There are no marks on this box. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and 1 3/8" high. It is in excellent condition.
