1913 Bisque KEWPIE Shoulderhead &Arms Rose O’Neill

Put a floppy cloth body this charming bisque Kewpie shoulderhead and it will make an adorable little 5" doll with bisque arms. In mint condition with no damage or repairs, the back shoulder is incised "Germany // 1387/ 6/0". Top quality bisque and painted features are perfect with left-glancing black eyes, super-fine painted upper lashes, watermelon grin and plump rosy cheeks. The dash eyebrows are brown while topknot and side puffs of hair are ochre and tiny wings are sky blue. The head measures 2.25" tall, 1.25" wide and 1.25" front-to-back. Tiny starfish-hand arms are 1 1/8" long with inside loops to stitch at shoulders. This Kewpie has quite the impish look!!
