24" Yellow Mohair 1930s American Teddy Bear Glass Eyes

A pert and friendly expression and bright light-brown glass eyes are the first thing noticeable about this charming 24" American bear. He's straw-stuffed golden-yellow mohair, made circa 1930, disc-jointed at neck, shoulders and hips. Teddy has big ears to the sides of his head, and wool felt paw pads (left forepaw pad replaced), besides a long pointy nose, horizontally-stitched with deep brown perle cotton, which leads to his smile. He's been loved but is still very sturdy and intact. The mohair is thin on his nose and forehead (from kissing?) and backs of arms, but just gaze in his eyes and give him a cuddle (he seems to just naturally lean in for a hug) – he'll steal your heart!!
