9" STEIFF HOPPY 1959 Running Rabbit Button #131,00 Tag

Soft cream-colored mohair is airbrushed with tan and black to replicate rabbit fur on this circa 1959 Steiff Hoppy. He is #1317,00 and the largest Hoppy at 9" long and 5" tall, in near-mint condition with the original nickel raised-script "Steiff" button and yellow cloth tag "Original Steiff // 1317,00 // Made In Germany". Large brown glass eyes, floppy ears, running stance on his inside-wired body, and little 'cotton' tail lend natural aspects to this sweet cuddly Steiff rabbit. The wired-ribbon bow is newer. Very clean from a non smoking home.
