Vintage Christmas Cotton Batting 7" SKIING CHILD

Here's an enchanting older child all dressed in cotton batting. He, or she, measures 7.5" tall by 3.5" wide, on 8" long skis. The child is in excellent all-original condition with vermilion bow under the chin. The papier-mache mask face is hand-painted with red hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks and closed mouth. The snowsuit shows age darkening, which just adds to the charm and authenticity! The ski poles are wooden dowels with cardboard roundels and the skis are cardboard. Thick white paint and glitter cover skis and poles for the effect of snow & ice. The child is wired to the skis and stands alone. Too cute!! Made Circa 1920’s and 30’s made in Japan.
