6.25" Austrian Beer Stein Hinged Pewter & Glass Lid

From Salzburg Austria, this appealing glass Beer Stein, in mint condition, inscribed "0.3 L", has red-glazed glass with deeply etched star centering the hinged pewter lid. The clear mug has a glaze-transfer medallion with two scenes: "Gruss aus Salzburg", and "Wallfahrsskirch Maria Plain". Hand-glazed light green brushstrokes encircle the transfer. Overall height is 6.25", the mug itself is 5.25" tall, 10" around at the bottom and 4.5" handle to front. The lid is .5" deep with 1" tall hops-shaped thumb-knob. Now what to fill it with??
