5" Folk Art Early 1800s SALT-Glaze Jug-Vase Stoneware

This charming little folk art jug is hand-made, thrown on a wheel, with four pale green rings under the salt glaze. It is in very good condition, formed of creamy stoneware; there are three molding cracks, and iron stains from the kiln, under the glaze. There are no markings. A few small dings in the glaze from use may be from using the jug for rolling out dough... This is a sweet naive piece for holding flowers or safekeeping liquids with addition of a cork!
