9.75” X 14.5” Large looking just minted, this embossed and sterling pierced oval serving bowl is in excellent to mint condition. Truly high Victorian in design, the borders of the bowl are richly embossed with florals, scrolls and waves. Roses and foliage ring the inside of the bowl. Hand-engraved with large intricate EGE monogram, marked on the bottom: Sterling // M // 2387 // J.E. Caldwell Co. This is an impressive piece for a fine silver collection. We have very interesting family history if you are the buyer.
