5" 1938 NASB #37 Judy Ann Swedish Rare Chartreuse Vest

Oh so delectable in her rare vest, Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls #37 "Swedish" is in excellent all-original condition. This pudgy little darling is marked: “Judy Ann”. The 1938 painted bisque has jointed shoulders and hips, molded bangs, plus molded socks & shoes painted as black slip-on shoes. Painted blue eyes with very fine painted upper lashes, rosy blushed cheeks and a tiny bow mouth. The pale blonde mohair wig has a side part and thick waves to her shoulders. Swedish wears a one-piece dress with organdy short-sleeve blouse, rare chartreuse vest with black 'lacing', black polished twill skirt trimmed in palest green NASB ribbon, and colorful floral-stripe apron (1/8" hole worn in back of right sleeve). Correct separate panties and petticoat are fine cotton. The tall pointed Swedish hat is black wool felt. Please see this exact doll pictured at top right corner on pg. 162 in Pardee/Robertson "Encyclopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann..." Simply adorable, special and precious!!! Very clean and wonderful from a non smoking home.
