24"-1920s Steel BUDDY "L" Express Line Moving Van

This larger-scale buddy L Moving Van is in excellent condition. Measuring 24 long, the van is 9.25 wide and 11 tall with original parts and no repairs. The steering wheel turns and directs the front wheels. Decal under dash: ALL YEAR TOYS // for girls and boys // Buddy L // built by // Moline Pressed Steel Co. Decal on each side: 'Buddy L // Express Line'. All-original paint: the cab is black, undercarriage and 'hubs' are deep red, 'tires' are silver and the van compartment is forest green. Radiator vents are cut on either side of the engine and the curved roof of the van compartment has the original reinforcement center beam. Buddy L trucks were advertised as able to support the weight of an adult standing on top – obviously they are very well made and sturdy, and this one only has a dent in the cab roof (as though the original child owner sat down and road the truck around!). There is some paint wear on fenders and roof, bay doors in back are missing but the hardware and hinges are still attached. Such a great truck in this size!!
