Elaborately engraved with swirling acanthus leaves and tiny blossoms, this Durgin 6-piece tea coffee service is in complete and excellent condition. Made and marked The Gorham Co., pieces are also marked with the Durgin D in shield, Sterling // 4. The pieces are shaped in a lovely low wide longish octagon – almost an emerald cut shape. Spouts and handles, with ivory spacers to keep handles cool, are also richly engraved. Only one side of each piece carries an intricate RGD h and-engraved monogram. The set includes: Waste Bowl, Sugar Bowl with lid, Creamer; 10.75 tall Hot water kettle on pouring stand with hinged-lid integrated burner; 4.5 tall Tea Pot; 7 tall Coffee Pot. The three pots all have lids hinged at one end. There are no damages or repairs. This is a fantastic set….Came from well known historic Colorado Family that will be included with the set.
