15" Mohair LOP-EAR BUNNY Germany 1950 Jointed & Squeaks

A most charming and interesting 1950-vintage lop-eared rabbit, this Bunny has an appeal. Made in light blue and cream mohair, he’s in excellent condition. Most likely made in Germany, he has long floppy ears, under which he can hide, lay them towards the back or inside-out for a comical pose. Blue glass eyes – with a very direct and knowing gaze, are enhanced by his black floss-embroidered nose and almost-smiling mouth. The neck, shoulders and hips are disc-jointed, and his stand-up tail has a still-working squeaker inside, which makes a few different sounds! The body is straw-stuffed with cardboard inner-soles, and black floss-embroidered ‘claws’ - he’s a totally fabulous old rabbit!! Mohair has some wear on edges of ears and feet, and is somewhat thin on belly, left arm and muzzle, plus he’s got some age-darkening, but his expression tugs at the heart and he’s extremely huggable!!
