MIB 11" Bendable-Leg AMERICAN GIRL BARBIE Pale Blonde First year American Girl MINT IN BOX Stunning first year Bendable-Leg American Girl Barbie from 1965 is in mint condition in her original box marked “Stock No. 1070” with “Pale Blonde” oval sticker, and her ©1963 Exclusive Fashions Book #1” and turquoise open-toe shoes are still in the sealed cellophane package. Perfect make-up with no rubs and absolutely no repaints: pale aqua eye shadow, medium brown eyebrows, and juicy peach lips without the slightest color-change. Her fingernail polish is perfect and she even has a tiny bit of polish on right toe nails. Barbie has gorgeous sunny Pale Blonde hair in the shorter-length original set with no haircut and no missing hair-plugs. Her body is clean with perfectly working three-click knees, no tears and no 'swingy' hips. Correct impressed hiney marks: “© 1958 // Mattel Inc. // U.S. Patented // U.S. Pat. Pend.” The shoes are perfect and matched because they’ve never been touched, her gold wire stand has no bends and is also in the box. We’ve dressed Barbie in a near-mint tagged Pak Silk Sheath in turquoise – which surely seems to be this girl’s color! Barbie’s box is in excellent condition with the cardboard lid marked as above (and original price of 3.98!!!). Colorful illustrations of gorgeous 1600-Series fashions cover the sides of the lid. The bottom of the box is shaped like the later boxes that just had cellophane over the top: curved interior in raspberry-pink, holes for her left arm so the doll stands sideways and white florals on the sides. This fabulous Barbie will be absolutely dazzling in all of those chic high-fashion 1600-Series outfits!! From original-owner, non-smoking home.
