20” Fat/Cute English MOHAIR TEDDY Ca.1930-40 Glass Eye

This adorable fellow is definitely of English make, although his maker’s name is a puzzle. His expression is totally endearing with huge amber glass eyes; stitched floss nose & mouth (nose possibly re-stitched), and original corded velvet paw pads. The golden yellow mohair, and there’s a 2-3” tan stain on his left foot and center back. Bear is disc jointed at neck, shoulders and hips, straw & kapok-stuffed with a very round head, big round ears and a stubby snout. He has a small back hump and chubby 21” circumference belly that helps him sit up straight; he still growls a bit when his back is patted. Well-behaved & huggable, he needs a good home!
