Gorgeous hand-dyed colors of rare orange, tan, sky blue and red give this excellent condition hand-spun wool Navajo Chief's Blanket or Rug a variegated and stunning aspect. Loom-woven pre-1890, the skill is masterful and there were no mistakes made. The ends have braided yarn finishing and the sides are perfectly straight and woven within the main field.
