This was the sixth printing of this book called the most definitive book on Will Rogers, called America's favorite son and favorite humorist, by the director of the Will Rogers Memorial. It was written in 1937, only two years after the fatal plane crash. Author Harold Keith was able to interview personally or through letters a great number of people who knew Will intimately.

This is a hardcovered book with textured grey boards - color worn on spine and on covers. This was a discarded library book in 1975. Edges of pages are age discolored. One has an end corner missing, some pages have fold marks. Contains several black and white illustrations by Karl S. Woerner and a black and white photograph of Will Rogers' giving a young lad instructions in lariat looping.

Another book from my own collection and I will adding many more so please stop back often.

Item ID: CL-BOOK-198
