Hardcovered, 8 1/4" x 9 3/4", 97 pages, this edition was first published in 1972 by Octopus Books Limited in London. The inside jacket reads: "This richly illustrated book by George Savage provides a comprehensive introduction to the four thousand year old tradition of glass-making from its earliest beginnings in predynastic Egypt to the modern revivals of the art in Scandinavia and America...illustrated with 143 photographs. Dustjacket has some dirt marks but no rips or tears. Binding is stiff and in very good condition.
