Submitted for your consideration is an exquisite hand painted cabinet plate from the famous Pickard Art Studios. Pickard used the mark on the back of this plate from 1910 until 1912. What a marvelous work this unnamed artist produced! Please note the how the intricate floral motif expressed in the classic use of gilt painting leaps out to the viewer when placed against the rich green border of the plate and the pristine white porcelain of the plate. The plate measures 9” in diameter and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, and hairline or crazing. There is some minimal wear related to the age of the piece including some minor loss of the gilt. What a stunning appearance this nearly century old plate would make and we can offer it to the shopper for a most reasonable $325.00.
