Art Deco Style Frosted Crystal Car Mascot from Czechoslovakia Signed R. Lalique

Submitted for your approval is a frosted crystal car mascot entitled “Longchamps” that was originally designed by Rene Lalique. The original work recently sold at auction for nearly $30,000.00. This version that contains the R. Lalique signature on the back of the sculpture stands 7” tall on its black block base and Astra in Czechoslovakia probably produced it.

The piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines, but there is a slight blemish on the nose of the horse as shown in the photographs. We can offer this wonderful homage to one of the past century’s greatest glass sculptors for $550.00.
