Suite of Six Framed Godey Fashion Prints

Submitted for your consideration is a suite of six framed Godey Fashion prints. Four of the Prints are entitled: “Godey’s Paris Fashions Americanized.” Another print is engraved: “In the Sulks: Children’s Fashions Engraved by Pease for Godey.” The last print is engraved: “An Equestrian Fashion Plate.”

Each print is framed in a simple black wood frame with a gilt wood border. The prints are all identically matted with a thick, dark matte. The framed images measure 10.5” by 13.5” while the print measures approximately 5.5” by 8.5”. The frames are all in very good condition, as are the prints with only some minor age related discoloration to the paper.

It is unusual to find such a collection of these old works from a fashion standard bearer intact, and we can offer the set to you for $425.00.
