Art Nouveau French Spelter Figural Table Lamp “Fleur D’Avril”

Submitted for your consideration is a stunning Art Nouveau table lamp in the form of a young maiden amidst a lovely floral motif. The piece is named “Fleur D’Avril” (April Flowers) and it one of the most impressive pieces that we have come across from this era.

The lamp stands 32” in height and it is 8” wide at its base. The condition is excellent with no dents or dings to the piece. Please note the beautiful face of the young woman who is the central image of this artwork. She is wearing a long, beautiful form-fitting gown as she stands on a vegetation base. She is surrounded by thick vines and superbly crafted leaves, all of which portend the bursting of soon to be seen spring blossoms. The patina of this work is nothing less than sensational. Deep brown colors are complemented by green highlights all contributing to the overall striking image of the piece. Two small bulbs complete the lamp, which is in working order as shown in the photograph. We can offer this wonderful antique that would be a central accent to any room for $1850.00.
