ITEM - Edward D. Everett (1818-1900) Listed Artist Watercolor. It is a lovely landscape of birch trees near the river.

Watercolor on paper, old handcut mat painted gold, gilded wooden frame. Painting dimension (in mat) - 19" X 9" Frame dimension - 29" X 19" Signed "Ed D. Everett" bottom right as shown

CONDITION - Great condition. Frame does show a bit of gild wear and a couple of scrapes in the corner. Painting and glass are excellent.

Edward Everett is an American artist named after 18thC U.S. senator and President of Harvard, Edward Everett. Our artist was also related to Nathan Hale - his nephew, I believe.
