The brim does screw off the glass part as an opening, so I'm not sure what's missing on the bottom that would have originally sealed it. May have been as simple as a cardboard disk. There are bubbles in the glass and a slight pink tinge, which attests to the age of the glass. Unknown maker. CONDITION - Other than whatever might be missing on the bottom to seal the container, I see no problems. No chips, cracks or repairs.
