My goal for this store is to offer you a little slice of Heaven. I carefully select the items that I sell, and research them thoroughly to make sure that the item descriptions and pricing are accurate.

This store is in honor my Dad, a treasure hunter, and WWII Navy Veteran. My goal is to operate this store in a manner that would make him proud. Customer satisfaction is key! I want you to enjoy your shopping and buying experience to the point that you will become a loyal customer. Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Domestic shipping is $3.00, which includes actual shipping costs and a $1.00 handling fee which I use to purchase beautiful gift boxes and other packing supplies.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Since I ship USPS First Class International, you must check the "Decline Insurance" box during checkout. Insurance is not available for this service, but it saves everyone time and money.

Domestic Insurance is optional and may be declined during checkout. By declining insurance, the customer is agreeing to be responsible for any loss or damage that is determined to be the fault of the USPS. I will continue to provide tracking information with each domestic purchase.

If you purchase insurance and your package is lost or damaged in transit due to the fault of the USPS, the BUYER is responsible for making a claim to the USPS for the amount of the insured item. I will no longer make these claims, nor will I refund the purchase price of the item. The buyer is responsible for presenting the damaged package at the USPS to process the refund.

Items returned for refunds must be insured and have an associated tracking number. Shipping charges are not generally refunded, but may be, depending on the circumstances surrounding the return.

$7.45 plus $0.95 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 to $5,000.

Restocking Fee:
Buyer to pay insured shipping on all returned items. There is no restocking fee.

Other Information:
North Carolina Residents will pay 6.75% sales tax.

Payment is expected within 72 hours from the time you receive your invoice. However, I am very flexible and If you are unable to pay within that time frame, simply contact me through the Ruby Lane website to make payment arrangements. If you do not pay or contact me, and I am unable to contact you, your order will be cancelled and the item re-listed.

Lay-a-way is available on purchases over $200. A $50 deposit is required, and I will work with each customer on an individual basis to work out a payment schedule that works for you.
