Graceful Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Swan Brooch

Here is a real vintage beauty, rich in detail and as old as the hills.

If you've ever seen swans swimming (it doesn't have to be 7) you will be amazed at their beauty. Certainly better than 6 geese a laying. I used to stop and gaze in amazement at the swans swimming around in the pond in the Boston Public Garden. Wait, actually, I didn't stop, I continued to run while I looked in a direction different than the one I was going. Darn those steps!

Anywho, this vintage beauty has not been swimming in the ponds of Boston, but may have been on one of those Duck Boat Tours, carried on, unsuspectingly, then thinking 'How Lame!'...but then joining in the fun as all the tourists on the boat yell "QUACK! QUACK!! QUACK!!!" at us runners. It is now looking for a home free of such embarrassing activities.

This beautiful creature is 1.75 inches tall and 1.9 inches long. It is hallmarked STERLING on the back, and the pin and mechanism are in fabo condition. Won't you adopt this beautiful feathered friend?
