Swirls of flowers envelop a heart in this sterling pendant with great vintage appeal. This pendant would look great on many different types of necklaces... yes, sterling silver would work... but so would a black satin cord or any other color or fabric for that matter. For a more old fashioned look, a ribbon of lace would be beautiful.

This vintage showstopper measures 1.3 inches high and wide and weighs 7.1 grams. It is in excellent condition with no damage to note. I love the way the bale is hidden behind the flower at the top center of the heart.

The hallmarks are interesting and look like ones that I should be able to identify. However, much searching has not revealed the answer. The markings are STERLING a copyright symbol and the makers hallmark, which looks like a little bee or bird with the number 3 on its belly. OR it could be an M turned sideways. I've found similar marks that are identified, but none of them matched this one well enough for me to say for sure.

One thing I can say for sure though is that you won't be disappointed in the gorgeous piece.
