Crafted in sterling silver, this beautiful pendant is 1.25 inches high (excluding the bale) and 1 inch wide. Likely to be from around 1900, the facial features on this piece bear remarkable resemblance to the design of the winged cupid by Wm. B. Kerr Co, shown on page 115 of Warman's Jewelry by Christie Romero.
The back of the heart does show some wear, but the 925 mark for sterling can be clearly seen.
This is a beautiful vintage sterling piece, an excellent collectible investment. You can't count on those 401Ks, but there will always be a market for collectible items like this one.
