Starting with the pink to red crystals...the lightest pink symbolizes the little girl that she was and still is at times.

The medium pink has a bit of spunkiness to it and reflects the teenage daughter...not fully mature, but not a little girl either, and perhaps a bit rebellious.

The deepest color, red, is for the adult daughter, grown and mature, perhaps with a family of her own, or living on her own and going to college.

The clear crystals are for those precious times of complete transparency between Mother and Daughter...the times you connect with open honesty and understanding. The less transparent ones are for the times when there was uncertainty or confusion, perhaps a situation or event that was not ready for sharing, but nonetheless, an important part of the relationship.
