Signed BETO ~ Luminous Abalone & Sterling Bracelet ~ Taxco Mexico

This fabulous find by the highly collectible Mexican artist, BETO, is in wonderful condition. I'll state right off the bat and not make you read through my drivel... there is no damage to this bracelet. Yes, an abalone bracelet with no pieces missing! YAY! It appears to have been cared for quite well.

There are 7 curved links that are 1 inch each, so that makes it a 7 inch bracelet when it's closed. Each link is about 0.6 inches high... so that means the bracelet is 0.6 inches high when it's closed. Duh. Oh, and it weighs 15.2 grams... light weight, yet it carries enough mass to be sturdy.

Hallmarks are in two places on the back. HECHO IN MEXICO, BETO 925 TAXCO, and the eagle 22 stamp. The set of marks nearest the clasp are the same, but the BETO stamp is a bit worn.The eagle 22 stamp was used by many highly regarded Mexican silversmiths, but I'll refrain from mentioning their names, lest I be accused of keyword spam. Just open up your dog-eared Bille Hougart book and you will see the list.

This is a great addition to your Mexican collection! Beto prices will continue to rise, so right now it is an excellent investment!
