This is a lovely bracelet fashioned from sterling, brass and copper forming a bird (parrot?) design against a backdrop of crushed stone. There are 3 identical panels separated by a sterling Aztec motif. The bracelet dates to between 1955 and 1979.

This beautiful piece of wearable art is in excellent condition with only some surface scratches consistent with age. It is 1.3 inches high and when closed is 7.5 inches around the outside.

It is very comfortable, and the locking mechanism is secure and easy to operate with one hand. The rings are present for the attachment of a safety chain, but there wasn't a safety chain on the piece when I purchased it. The bracelet weighs 2.5 ounces (71 grams)

Hallmarks include 925 inside a circle that reads NESTOR HECHO EN TAXCO, METALES, STERLING and The Eagle 3 stamp.
