Victorian Stone Brooch

This is a very interesting stone brooch. The stone looks like a brown an tan combination. When I look at it very closely it looks like grass growing in water. It is mounted on a silver base and has gold prongs holding the stone in place. It has a "C" clasp. There are no identifying marks on this. 1 3/8" x 1/2"
