This hat was made in the 1940's by Paden City Glass as a powder Jar. The lid is no longer with this one. I read that these were also made to be used as ash receptacles.

This one is a rich amber color with a stippled brim and lines around the hat. There are 3 eagle insignia on it. No chips or cracks. approx. 5"' x 3".
