REDUCED Jaeger Porcelain Dessert 3pc Set Juliette

$29 USD Offers ConsideredREDUCED Jaeger Porcelain Dessert 3pc Set Juliette

Porcelain
This is one of the prettiest sets I have seen. The fine translucent white porcelain has slightly raised clovers with a light rainbow luster glaze just on them. The gold stems, leaves and tendrils flow delicately around each piece. The plate and saucer have a slightly scalloped edge and the foot of the cup matches with the same scallop. These were made by Jaeger & Co about 1902. The mark and pattern name "Juliette" is on both the cup and plate. No chips or cracks in any piece. Just a little wear ...

There is damage to this piece, but I don't think it detracts from the beauty. The photo shows the worst area of missing enamel. 3" x 6". unmarked The woven basket is Indian - appears very old, but I don't know much about this item. There is wear in places..the outer wrapping is missing and exposes the reed under it. It is a little ...
