Fabulous Early 20" Brown Eyed China With Provenance

This is a great and rare brown eyed china with outstanding glazed porcelain shoulder head, sturdy cloth body and leather arms (one old repair). She has the white line down the center of her hairdo, red line on eyelid and red dots in corners of the eyes. She also has individually stitched fingers...(one pinky finger is slightly fragile and hanging). Her dress is antique silk taffeta with velvet bodice and she has a fabulous matching antique bonnet. This beauty has wonderful presence and PROVENANCE as she was purchased directly from the closing sale of the Mary Merritt Museum in Pennsylvania. She shared residence with many other dolls that were on display for the pleasure and enjoyment of doll collectors and historians for over 43 years.
