This is an outstanding Coro quivering tulip brooch. The tulip is pave set with crystal rhinestone chatons. It has an opening with the center pink rhinestones, mounted in pot metal, set on a spring. Hence the "quivering" reference. The leaves are enameled in dark fuchsia pink that graduates to the softest baby pink. The leaves and stem are tied with a rhinestone ribbon. This is a variation of a design patented by Adolf Katz in 1939 (pat. # 115,043). This brooch measures 3 7/8" x 1 5/8". It is signed Coro at the base of the stem. Excellent condition!
