What Mode Art collection would not be complete without this portrait brooch? Yours! this romantic portrait brooch features a transfer of a Victorian woman. She is framed by tiny white faux seed pearls. The rest of the gold tone frame is domed and has lots of detail and ornamentation. Tiny carnelian colored beads and white seed pearls dot the opulent edges. The brooch measures 2" x 1 1/2" and is signed ART© on the back. This piece can be found on p. 93 of Julia Carrolls' Collecting Costume Jewelry 101. So pretty and feminine. It would be gorgeous pinned on a lace collar.
