La Roco jewelry has always been hard to find. But look! I found another La Roco brooch! This one is a dome shaped. It has been worked in the La Roco trademark style of golden threads. If you look closely, the gold tone metal looks like herringbone woven string. These strings are laid out in open paisleys and are studded with rhinestones, faux pearls and art glass cabochons. The colors of these La Roco brooches were either multicolor or monochromatic. This one used faux turquoise glass stones in assorted shapes and sizes. But it also has ruby red rhinestones and varying sizes of faux pearls. La Roco brooches were, by design, hard to sign. Therefore, only the earrings were signed. The brooch measures 2 1/4" across. The safety clasp works perfectly and this brooch is in excellent condition.
