La Roco jewelry has always been hard to find. But look! I found another La Roco brooch! This one is a dome shaped. It has been worked in the La Roco trademark style of golden threads. If you look closely, the gold tone metal looks like herringbone woven string. These strings are laid out in open paisleys and are studded with rhinestones. The colors of these La Roco brooches were either multicolor or monochromatic. This one used emerald green rhinestones in assorted sizes. But it also has jet black rhinestones. La Roco brooches were, by design, hard to sign. Therefore, only the earrings were signed. The brooch measures 2 1/4" across. The safety clasp works perfectly and other than some "up and down" movement of the pin stem, this brooch is in excellent condition.
