US Zone Germany 3-Piece Glass Dresser Set by Irving W. Rice & Co., Inc.

Beautiful 3-piece glass dresser set. This set is a lovely celadon green color decorated with gold striping around each piece. This set was made by Irving W. Rice & Co. It is stamped "Made in US Zone Germany" on each of the three pieces. The powder box container also has a paper sticker on the bottom that reads "An Irice Import" with "Made in Germany U.S. Zone Irving W. Rice & Co., Inc. N.Y.C."

All three pieces are in excellent condition. I find no chips, cracks or flea bites. Two points to mention: The interior of the small powder box piece does have a manufacturing defect. A small round roughness in the bottom of the interior on this piece. There is also some minor wear of the gold striping. Please see the pictures.

The round powder jar is about 2" tall (not including the knob on the lid) and is about 3 1/2" across. The two small jars are about 4 3/4" tall and are about 2 1/4" across.

This is a wonderful dresser set and a wonderful piece of history.
