Vintage Saks Fifth Avenue Crystal Evening Purse Handbag - Made In France

Stunning evening clutch made in France for Saks Fifth Avenue. This vintage silk clutch is decorated front and back with rows and rows and rows of crystals. Absolutely gorgeous! It has a snap closure (that works great) and the interior has one open pocket with two smaller side pockets. It is marked inside with " Saks Fifth Avenue/ Made in France".

Condition: I do not know the age of this bag, but it is in good vintage condition. First, I find NO missing crystals. They all seem to be there and are secure. The silk seems to have originally been a soft ecru that has aged just a little darker. The stitching around the purse and the pockets is all intact. No loose stitching. The only major aging I see is some staining on the interior of the purse. There is normal aging around the interior edges. There are also a few marks - one that looks like an ink mark - this did not show up in the photos. It is on the opening upper inside and is about 1/2" long. There are several inside the purse that look like makeup or lipstick. These could possibly be cleaned off.

This handbag measures approximately 7 1/4" long and 4 1/4" high.
