This item in the 1930's "walking" doll by the Wilson Novelty Company. This wonderful Depression Era doll was made of a cardboard cone body, round wooden head and hand painted or decal facial features. This Clown Walker Doll has wooden legs, cardboard cone body, round wooden head, pipe cleaner arms and wooden legs and feet. His cardboard body is painted /12 red and 1/2 white. He has pipe cleaner buttons, crepe paper neck ruffle and hat with a pipe cleaner tassel on the point of his hat. His face is a decal face. He has walking legs that will "walk" the doll down a slight angled ramp.

This doll has a label attached to his front that reads "Souvenir/Stuttgart, Ark.". On the bottom of his wooden feet he has the Wilson Novelty Company mark stamped. Some of the stamping cannot be read because it is blurred and partially off the wood.

This doll is from the original owner's vintage doll collection. He is in very good condition. The decal on his face is intact. His pipe cleaner arms, button and the crepe paper ruffle at his neck are a little aged but still in very good condition. His cone body, wooden head, legs and feet look good also.
