Bisque Doll Head Germany

This vintage bisque doll head is marked Germany and has the numbers 182 and 16 (I think) and 18 on the back of the head. This is a very pretty head. There are no chips or cracks. She has a hand painted face. Pretty eyebrows, eyelashes (lower and upper), soft blushing cheeks and peach tinted lips.

There are drilled holes on both upper temple areas, 2 in the center back of the head - and of course, the neck joint.

The ears are in good shape. This head does not have eyes set in the sockets. The mouth is partially open - no teeth.

It needs a good cleaning. There are some dark marks on the upper temple on the left side - these would probably be hidden by a wig. On the upper forehead and temple area on the right side and right ear - there is an area of different shading from the rest of the face. Don't know why - but the bisque is smooth in this area. This bisque head is about 7 1/2" tall and about 15" in circumference.
