Wonderful Fold-Out Victorian Valentine Card, Germany

When we say they don't make them like they used to, we certainly could be referring to Valentine cards. This card measures 9 3/4" x 6 3/4". It folds flat. When opened, there are four die-cut chromolithograph layers with tissue accordions. The message in the center bull's eye is "To My Valentine". This message is echoed when folded. It also says Printed in Germany. Someone has written on the back Mother from Dorothy. On one side the accordion tissue is not securely attached. On the other there is a 1/4" tear. Otherwise very good condition.
