This 9 3/4" soup plate has a scalloped border. The plate is decorated with a drape and spade pattern in a deep cobalt blue. The edge and the pattern is highlighted with gilding. The bottom is marked with two marks. The blue mark has the pattern CLIFTON and the maker W. H. Grindley England. The green mark has The Duchess W. H. Grindley & Co. England. These marks were used 1891-1915. This soup is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. There is light crazing. Three stilt marks are on the bottom. There are 5 soups available all in similar condition. The price is for a single. You may buy 1 or more.
