Lovely Victorian Domed Shell Sewing Box, France

This small Sailor's Valentine is cardboard. The sides have a basketweave paper covering. The domed top is covered in shells. The inside is lined in a gray blue paper. The bottom is marked Made in France. There is a string handle on the top of the lid and a string closure. The box measures 4 1/2" x 3" x 3 1/2". The paper hinge has deteriorated. There is tape holding the lid. Otherwise, this box is in good condition.
